Christina A. Brown

Catherine O. Brown is sole owner of Law Office of Catherine Brown, LLC established in 2005. She has been practicing immigration and naturalization law exclusively for 23 years, with a particular focus on business immigration and US citizenship. She is a member of the Colorado Bar and previously was a member of the US District Court Bar in order to practice federal litigation. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and AILA Colorado Chapter since 2001. She served in various leadership positions in AILA: Member of the AILA National CBP Committee, 2019 to 2023, AILA National DMV Committee, 2015-2018, AILA Colorado CBP Committee Chair/Member, Media Advocacy Chair/Member, and DMV Liaison Chair during the transition to SB-251. She also served as a Member and Chair of the new Immigration Section of the CBA in 2009-11 and served on the Solo/Small Firm Executive Committee for the CBA from 2012-2014. She authored “Family-Sponsored Immigration” for the Immigration Law for the Colorado Practitioner, 1^st Edition 2011. She established LawLine 9 specifically for immigration questions in 2006 and frequently has volunteered for LawLine 9 as well as for local organizations El Comite and Safehouse Boulder in Boulder county. She has spoken/presented on various topics, related to family and business immigration. She obtained her BA from the University of Notre Dame, her MS from the London School of Economics, and her JD from the University of Denver College of Law.

In her free time, she enjoys running, gardening, hiking, Hazy IPAs, and all things related to mountains and dogs.
