What Employers Need to Know to Bridge the Racial Divide

Our Speaker:

David Combs

A resident of the Grand Valley for over 40 years, David Combs has become the elder statesperson of the local Black and African-American community. He founded Black Citizens and Friends to educate middle school and high school students about the history of Black and African-American people as well as the contemporary challenges faced by people of color in the workforce. David brings a unique perspective as an employee, small business owner, volunteer, and activist. His insights will give HR professionals and other business managers the tools they need to bridge the racial divide and create workplaces that are inclusive, equitable, and successful.
